报告摘要：In this talk I will discuss modules for the Temperley-Lieb algebras TL_r via the connections to the quantum group U_q = U_q( sl_2). It is a well known fact that  TL_r is  isomorphic to the endomorphism ring of the r'th tensor power of the natural 2-dimensional module for U_q.  We shall use this connection to carry over information about U_q-modules  to modules for the Temperley-Lieb algebras. In particular, we shall obtain easy algorithms for the dimensions  simple TL_r-modules.
