报告摘要:Automatic emotion recognition from gaits information is discussed in this talk, which has been investigated widely in the fields of human-machine interaction, psychology, psychiatry, behavioral science, etc. The gaits information is non-contact, collected from Microsoft kinects, and contains 3-dimensionalcoordinates of 25 joints per person. These joints coordinates vary with the time. So, by the discrete Fourier transform and statistic methods, some time-frequency features related to neutral, happy and angry emotion are extracted and used to establish the classification model to identify these three emotions. Experimental results show this model works very well, and time-frequency features are effective in characterizing and recognizing emotions for this non-contact gait data.

李保滨:2009年毕业于北京大学并获得理学博士学位,现为中国科学院大学副教授,美国数学评论特邀评论员,美国IEEE会员。先后主持承担973子课题、国家自然科学基金和中国科学院教育信息化等课题。主要研究方向为图像处理、数据挖掘、情感计算,及其在辅助医疗诊断中的应用等。主要研究结果发表于IEEE Transactions on Image Processing、IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing等国际顶级期刊。
