报告摘要：

Roughly speaking, in mathematics, a q-analogue, also called a q-extension is a mathematical expression parameterized by a quantity q that generalizes a known expression and reduces to the known expression when q tends to 1.

In many cases,  q-extensions can lead to important mathematical discoveries. In  this talk, I  will introduce some basic knowledge and idea of q-analogues.

报告人简介

刘治国，华东师范大学数学系教授，博士生导师。主要研究Ramanujan数学，英国皇家学会破格授予“王宽诚皇家学会研究奖学金”，在Advances in Mathematics，Trans Amer. Math. Soc.等国际期刊发表研究论文60多篇，主持多项国家自然科学基金。
